  Do yourself a favour. Stop in and grab a steak. You'll thank me afterwards. Best (pub) food in Armidale and enough of a variety of beer on tap to make you fear sunlight the next morning. The friendly staff and warm environment make a passer through happy to wet the whistle while they rustle the grub (actually grubs not included). The urinal assist with the stagefright (it'll make sense when your there, just go look), the footy is projected on a wall (up high aswell for the shorter fella) and the garlic bread is brought to your table mid schooe like it was planned from the gods. For my 2 cents, try a Betoota Bitter ... turns out betoota's a ghost town in QLD. Who'da thunk.

  Nice meal at a good price. Service was pretty quick despite their being a ton of people there. Good range of beers.

  A very warm & welcoming place with friendly staff & efficient service. Food is solid & cooked well. A family friendly & relaxed place to enjoy a meal, drinks with friends or family.

  A bit too swanky for a country pub, but maybe that's why it's a popular local place to drink. :| Local Beer on tap here and the usual boring mainstream Crap, pretty good Wine list, mix of local and national. Counter meals affordable and filling. The Restaurant side is classy if you can forget that your in a pub. :-)
